Katherine Armstrong Quoted in FTC Watch on FTC’s New Blog Series

Washington, D.C. counsel Katherine Armstrong was quoted in an FTC Watch article titled “FTC’s ‘Stick with Security’ Blog Called Useful as Critics Point out Flaws,” which discussed the FTC’s new blog series that aims to help companies understand the agency’s stance on data security.

The blog, “Stick with Security,” publishes a post every Friday that covers recent lessons the agency has learned from its data security investigations and provides general tips to help companies safeguard their data. Katherine stated that the blog’s content can be helpful to small businesses and emphasized the importance of staying abreast of data security developments, nothing that, “[There’s no] one-and-done or one-size-fits-all solution in the world of data security because a robust data security program is always evolving.”
