Bob Stoll Quoted in The Recorder
News
Washington, D.C. partner Bob Stoll was quoted in The Recorder in an article titled, “Federal Circuit Girds for Reform, Scrutiny, and Rush of Appeals in 2014.”
The article discussed the three new additions to the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the ironing out of patent reform. Federal Circuit judges are geared up to deal with the last major patent reform legislation -- the 2011 America Invents Act (AIA). The AIA sets out a new procedure for streamlined mini-trials before the newly established Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Bob notes that “it’s a brand new process, which means there are lots of new issues that are going to be bubbling up.”
