Mark Voigtmann Authors Automation Reference Book

Mark A. Voigtmann of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has authored a new book on automation law published by the International Society of Automation (ISA). The Automation Legal Reference: A Guide to Legal Risk in the Automation, Robotics and Process Industries is the first wide-ranging exploration of legal risk published by the ISA.

As a partner and the leader of FaegreBD's construction and real estate litigation group, Voigtmann has more than 20 years of expertise on the front lines of construction law. The book aims to inform automation, process and robotics industry professionals of the legal concepts and risks affecting them, ranging from contract development and negotiation to professional licensing and dispute resolution.

"This is not a law book," Voigtmann said. ""Instead, it's a concise guide to the law for persons in these industries, written in plain English."

The Automation Legal Reference consists of 21 chapters covering topics including contract clauses, automation contracts, intellectual property, automation standards, green considerations, dispute resolution and more.

The book is available now through the ISA website and Amazon.com.

The ISA is a leading global nonprofit organization helping more than 30,000 automation professionals solve difficult technical problems and enhance their career capabilities.
