Workforce Safety

Overview

Keeping workers safe is an important priority for employers. Faegre Drinker helps employers comply with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and similar state laws. We can represent you during investigations conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and similar governmental agencies in state plan jurisdictions. As part of our proactive compliance approach, we assist with environmental, safety, and health audits; counsel on occupational safety and health laws; and prepare detailed workplace safety policies, handbooks, and programs. Our team also represents employers in cases involving safety retaliation and whistleblower claims. Recognizing that employee training is key to a safe workforce, we help you prepare and/or deliver engaging, practical, and informative training modules and materials. We vigorously defend you if you appear before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission or state boards, courts, commissions, and administrative law judges. Our attorneys have served as national and regional OSHA counsel for multinational employers in matters across the United States, and they are committed to helping develop and maintain safe, compliant work environments.
